The Benefits of using Fiverr
Surely you can look for freelancers on your own and sometimes they even cost cheaper. The drawback is quality assurance and dependability on finishing the job. Why sacrifice quality in a time when SEO relies a lot on exceptional content? With Fiverr, you have better chances of getting the best-fit person for the project that you need to get done. Here are the benefits of working with freelancers in Fiverr:
Flexibility – Whatever time zone you are in, you can look for sellers that will adjust to your time zone. Since freelancers work with different employers, you can expect them to be flexible enough to work within your guidelines and preferences.
Savings – Freelancers cost a whole lot lower than hiring personnel. Fiverr got its name from the lowest cost of services on the website which is $5. Also, since sellers are not your employees, you do not need to pay any regular payroll costs.
Work-ready Specialists – You can hire industry experts that do not need training and can work on your project immediately with minimal supervision. You get the expertise you need without going through the whole recruitment process. You only spend for Gigs that you book thus maximizing your money’s worth.
Turnaround time – You can meet your deadlines or work within a strict schedule without the hassle of compromising work quality.
Added support – Your immediate staffing needs are solved without going through a human resources recruitment process.
Direct chain of communication –Communication is direct between you and the seller. Fiverr has nothing to do with any transactions. It’s only function is to set the venue for buyers and sellers to meet and secure payments for each transaction.
Sense of urgency – Sellers want to finish every gig as soon as possible to move on to the next buyer. You do not have to worry about a delayed posting of your orders or extended deadlines.
Quality – Sellers will always focus on quality because the last thing they want is to get poor ratings and negative feedback. They will do whatever it takes to keep a good reputation.
How to Order Gigs
Finding a Service – Just like browsing the web using a search engine, type in your keywords to the search box or look for Gigs under the categories. You can use filters on the left side of the screen such as delivery time, seller level, and seller language
Choosing a Gig -There could be several sellers that offer the same Gig that you are looking for. The best way to decide is by looking at each Gig’s information such as offered extras, customer reviews, Gig description, and seller profile.
Seller Profile – You can contact the seller or check out the seller’s page to see his or her other Gigs and their corresponding ratings. Check out reviews and testimonials sent by other buyers to help you decide which seller might work best for the job that you need finished.
Ordering a Gig – Prior to ordering a Gig, get to know the seller by reading the full description, watching videos and looking through previous gigs. Some sellers also want to communicate with the buyer first. Look for any gig extras, and when ready to order, click the green ‘Order Now’ button. Find your orders and see the status of each by clicking ‘My Orders’ on the top right corner of the Fiverr page. With this function, you can check the statuses of all of your orders.
Account Funds – There are currently no options to add or deposit funds into their Fiverr account. Buyers submit their payment information only after they order a gig. You can track what you’ve done with your funds under My Orders in the drop down menu from your username.
Making your Payment – Fiverr holds your payment after you have submitted your information and clicked the ‘Order Now’ button. The funds will then be sent to the seller 14 days after the Gig status moves to ‘complete’ The seller’s overall profit will be 80% of the original cost; the rest goes to Fiverr.
Tagging an order “Complete” – Once the seller delivers his product or service, the order status will automatically change to ‘Delivered.’ Upon delivery, you can rate your level of satisfaction with the seller and leave honest feedback for everyone to see. If you will not rate the service or leave feedback within three days, the Gig will be marked as complete.
Request Modification – When you are not happy with the results, you can request for modification. Most sellers hate this and some even come up with their request modification policies. As a buyer, it is your responsibility to check if the seller accepts modifications.
Creating a gig request – If you cannot find the Gig that you need, you can try the buyer requests section. There is an option for ‘Request a Gig.’ Find sellers with the expertise that you need to get the job done.
Order Cancellation – Keep in mind that if you cancel your order, you will not get back the funds that you used to order the Gig. In case you have ordered by mistake, send a message to the order page and click the ‘This isn’t What I Wanted’ option so the cancellation process can proceed. In case the order has started, and you still want to cancel, contact the seller if you can work things out. In case this doesn’t work, click ‘Resolution Center’ on the top of the page so you can request for mutual cancellation.
Pricing Points
Unlike other products, prices vary in Fiverr depending on the seller. The lowest cost of service is $5, and out of that, the platform gets 20% for each transaction. After paying, your money will be put on hold by Fiverr until your seller delivers your order.
